× SANDRY RIFFARDA stained glass enamel dial composed for one collector and never repeated.

Tattoo becomes architecture. Architecture becomes light. Light becomes time.
Sandry Riffard is known for hyperrealistic tattoo work that folds gothic architecture, cathedral windows and dark imagery into the body. His compositions feel precise yet alive, controlled by line and transformed by color.
For ChronoAstra, that language leaves the skin and enters a physical object. The same organic black structure is rendered in precious metal, surrounding translucent enamel that catches and returns light like stained glass.

The artist behind the dial
Sandry has built an international following through hyperrealistic tattoo work that merges gothic architecture, dark imagery and the luminous geometry of stained glass. For this collaboration, that unmistakable visual language is translated into precious metal and fired enamel.

The ChronoAstra perspective
Over the past year, ChronoAstra founder and lead designer Raven Reichl worked in close collaboration with Sandry Riffard to turn a shared idea into a truly singular timepiece. Every decision, from the new ergonomic case and reworked movement architecture to the one-of-one enamel dial, was developed as part of the same watch.
“After eight years of designing and making watches, this is one of the most personal and complete pieces we have created.”Raven Reichl · Founder & Lead Designer, ChronoAstra

A design with no duplicate
You choose the emotional palette and share the story behind it. Sandry decides how those colors flow through the dial, approaching each commission as he would a one-off tattoo.
The color atelier
Six color directions across two dial materials. Sandry will compose the final arrangement for each collector.
Some colors can only be made well on silver, others on gold. By offering both choices we can expand the possible color combinations to create the most unique special dial for each person.

More than 20 hours on the dial alone
Each dial begins as solid silver or pure 24K gold, prepared and finished by hand before the composition is built.
Every silver or 24K gold partition is shaped, positioned and fixed individually to preserve the flow of Sandry's original artwork.
Enamel is selected for the collector's palette, placed into each cell, fired, cooled and built up through successive layers.
The finished dial is polished until the metal framework and enamel form a smooth, luminous surface.
No transfer. No printed pattern. No automated color layout. The traces of the human hand are not imperfections. They are the signature that makes your dial yours.

The new architecture
A new ergonomic case with integrated lines and a balanced profile. Brushed planes meet hand mirror-polished facets, available in natural silver or deep black Grade 5 titanium.

Tell us where your color story begins. Your request opens a creative conversation between collector, artist and enamelist.
Because every watch is individually numbered from 01 to 25 and created one at a time, we review each request with care. Our hope is simply to place every piece with someone who feels a real connection to the work and will cherish the artwork made for them.
Prior connection to Sandry or ChronoAstra is welcome, but never required.
